The Legal Aid Society of Story County is dedicated to providing legal representation to low income residents of Story County, Iowa presenting civil matters. All clients are at or below 150% of the poverty line. We primarily work on family law cases, but accept cases including and not limited to, unemployment appeals, domestic abuse protective orders, debtor/creditor or landlord/tenant cases, and Social Security Disability appeals. Our three attorneys fully represent an average of 250 cases annually.
